The first thing I invested in when I moved to Miami Beach is two pairs of sunglasses. They were classics and though I spent “a grip” on them, I’ll probably have them for years to come. Here are my favorite “locs” for 2011 and beyond.

Only a few days left until Halloween and you don’t really know what you’re going to do. When all else fails, you can always throw on a hot dress, heels, a punchy lip color and a mask. Here are some haute ones from Etsy and if you really want them and you’re lucky, they can probably be sent overnight. If there’s no time for that or you don’t want to shell out the dough, you can always borrow these ideas, take a trip to your local fabric or craft store and get creative.

Haute Hostess Aprons
Saw these on Oprah today. I don’t cook or do anything where I would need an apron, but thought I’d share with you because they are ‘a-dorb’. They are by Haute Hostess. I think the concept is kind of genius. Aprons have always been matronly and blasé, but these make me want to learn how to cook. Are we thinking about holiday gifts yet? How perfect would this be for the girl who has everything?
