German jewellery designer Sabrina Dehoff studied fashion design at the Royal College of Art in London and trained at Moschino and Lanvin in Paris. Starting her label in 2005, Dehoff creates thematic collections using animals, characters, and fantastical elements. These gold plated “Sweet” “Surrender” haircombs are actually sold out at ASOS but retail for about $170 per set of two. Would you rock them?

Chic Hair Accessories from Top Shop

Are you a hair accessories lover desperately in need of new headbands for your spring repertoire? Here are some cute ones from Top Shop. This is a chic way to add some flair to a braid-out, twist-out or experimental up do, but walk a fine line and keep it super simple with jewelry so you don’t end up looking like a grown woman trapped  in little girl’s clothing. Headbands can come off a bit young when they aren’t paired with the right outfits and if worn at the wrong place at the wrong times.

Harakiri Confetti by Aurora Ozma

Earlier on Twitter a reader asked me for suggestions for styling her TWA (or teeny weenie afro for the lay chick). One of the things I suggested was to accessorize. I always love when I see girls playing with hair pieces and not those homely zig zag clips or whatever you find in the isles at your local drug store. I’m talking about super chic grownup hair accessories that are sui generis. If you’re crafty, try your hand at making your own. If you’re not into all o’ that you can search etsy.com for some original and dope handmade and vintage pieces. I recently came across these Harakiri Confetti by Aurora Ozma and I nearly collapsed. Look at them. Couldn’t you just picture a fly chick you’ve seen on Mane & Chic rocking them?
