Chanel Iman Wraps It Up
I originally posted this back in 2007 and just ran across it in the archives. I’m always browsing Mane and Chic archives for inspiration. As you should know, this is super model Chanel Iman. This image was taken when she was just starting out, she was 17 years old at the time these particular photos were taken.
You can create this style at home by finding a chic scarf or find a fab piece of fabric, just wrap it around your head and tie in the front to make a bow for drama or tie in the back for a subtle look. You can also leave some curly tendrils in the front and sides to complete Chanel’s look. Super easy and très cute.

Rock It Knock It: Juicy’s Python-Print Floral Headband
Today’s Rock It Knock It features a python-print headband in canvas by Juicy Couture. When I saw it, I thought about all the edgy style arbiters out there rocking TWAs that want to add some interest to their hair without dying it or doing anything too drastic. I like this accessory for all lengths (even super long straight hair), but I think a tiny ‘fro would just SHUT IT DOWN in this headband. Maybe you won’t buy this specific headband, but maybe it can inspire you to make your own or search for it on Etsy and I think I may have seen similar designs before on there.
