If you’re interested in joining meetup.com, just sign up, go to ‘Find a Meetup Group” and type in ‘Natural Hair’ for your city and you will be able to see a list of groups. If your city doesn’t have a Meetup group for natural hair (like New Orleans) then you will see an option to be notified once one is created. Choose that and luckily if there is enough interest, someone will host a meetup in your city or you can be a host yourself.

This is great for transitioners and for people who want to build a support system of other women of like mind.
