A couple of months ago, I discovered something really dope called Spotify. The first month is free and only $10 a month after. I love it because I get to listen to my favorite artists and listen to their entire albums. I also can listen on the go through an app on my iPhone. This past weekend, I went on a road trip and was playing old music from the 90s. It definitely kept me up and entertained. I can hardly believe that I was shelling out so much money buying songs and albums off iTunes, but now I just put in whatever I’m in the mood to hear for one small monthly fee.

Spotify is the best thing I’ve discovered since… the Jilbere shower comb, Kinky Curly Knot Today and braid outs —combined. You know I don’t rave about stuff unless I really believe in it and that’s the only reason I’m sharing it with you. Today, I got an e-mail from Spotify about their refer-a-friend program. I already had plans to eventually write a post about it, but this was the perfect opportunity to share this with those of you who don’t already know about it. Basically, I get a month free for every 5 people that sign up. If you have Spotify, you might look into this program too. Anyway, if you love music, click here to learn more about Spotify.

Yep yep! I only recently got put on to Spotify and I haven’t closed the app yet. No more Itunes for me. I actually remember hearing a Dwele song from one of your old youtube videos and checked the artist out because of it. I would love to glean your playlists.

So one is actually only ‘renting’ music? I can listen to all that Spotify has to offer…for $10/month…forever? That’s ok, I’d rather purchase than rent.
